Duplicate transaction with N26 bank account
I recently bought coach tickets using my N26 card. The tickets cost €59.40. But N26 duplicated the transcation, so my account fell by €118.80 instead of €59.40.
Here's where things get even weirder. My account balance was already low; it had less than €118.80. So when N26 took the €118.80, my account went into a negative balance:
A negative balance should be impossible, since my account doesn't have an overdraft facility nor a credit facility. It's just a simple debit account.
Anyway, I did nothing as I thought the problem might go away on its own. Lo and behold, it did: eleven days later, N26 returned the money to my account:

HEy, amazing I have the same issue. The web interface shows the debit twice, but if I download a bank statement in PDF, the transaction is displayed only once. Wtf are they doing...

Same problem, except I made a transaction of 1500€ and I have now a negative balance of 1200€ so can't use my card until they put me back the money!! For an "international bank" it's simply incredible

I have the same problem in France. 3 times I had a double debit for things I obviously bought once. I always get the credit back in the following 12 days. It's annoying though, I don't wanna be stuck if someday I buy something a little bit expensive and my account go negative because of the double debit. I'm tried to have explanations from N26, they tell me there's only one payment and the other one is an authorization. Anyway it's annoying and not normal

I was happily using N26 debit card in Latvia, but then used it in Switzerland and got three duplicate transactions. One of those was still in place after 15 days, so I had to fill Cardholder Dispute Form to get my 18€ back. Very strange and disturbing.

Same problem for me. Charge twice for 2 schedule card transactions. The two transactions appear only one in downloadable statement but twice in the web or mobile application. And really annoying as I now have a negative balance and impossible to use my card.
