Dear Diary. My sister sends me a photo of Dad. His hair has turned white. When did this happen? It must have happened recently. Maybe he saw a ghost. Or maybe he's undergoing some kind of rapid ageing, like in the film Old.

But scariest of all, maybe it's just part of the ageing process. After all, he's almost 60 now. And it's a scary and bleak look at my future. How soon will it be I wonder until he's in a care home and unable to go to the toilet by himself and urinating in his trousers? Probably not that far off I reckon. By this time next year, he'll be pissing his pants in a care home while mumbling incoherently about demons trying to steal his organs.
