1pm. Today is Girlfriend's and my one-year anniversary. However, we won't be seeing each other, as she is working a morning shift and I an evening shift.

Dear Diary. I set up a game where she has to follow a series of clues in order to find a prize (a bottle of her favourite beer). It's fun for me; I used to make games like this for my siblings when we were younger.

2.30pm. It is my first day at Bug-tracker. We have to fill in documents. The HR guy welcomes us by declaring, "You will have a good time here. You will have fun." I remain skeptical.

The offices are small and dark. The whole day I work with a guy called Alex Rainbow. He says I can just call him Rainbow. He doesn't seem gay though.
