My dad threw all the bin bags into the garden in a fit of rage

21st March 2010 Paul Chris Jones

Dear Diary. Today was Mother's Day. I went over to the corner shop and bought her a card. Mom and Dad had an argument. Mom was going on at Dad because he wasn’t doing the washing machine properly. Dad got madder than I've seen him in years because both my sister and Mom were having a go at him at the same time. The extent of their whingeing was so unfair to him.

I was going through bin bags to find a receipt he needed that I'd thrown away. I had done something bad (thrown away the receipt he needed unwittingly) and I was trying to make up for it by sorting through these bags of horrible rubbish for him. There was thrown-away food and I was sorting through it with my bare hands. Mom said I should stop but I was adamant that I would make up for what I had done. Dad angrily came into the conservatory but the bin bags were in the way. He threw them all out into the garden in a rage.

The atmosphere in the house was so bad that I took a drive. I filled up on petrol. I was going to buy toilet rolls as Adam and Mom were going on at Dad for not having bought toilet rolls and that now there was only one left. Well it was four for £4, too expensive I thought, so I left them.
