Shitty poem I wrote aged 9 about daffodils
Daffodils by Paul, aged 9
Let's take a peek,
It's green like a leek.
Nearly every one
Looks just like the Sun
It smells just like mint
Which smells (nearly) like flint.
Inside it, it's damp,
It looks like a lamp.
It smells like perfume
Or a very damp tomb.
It looks like a star
Or a bright yellow car.
It doesn't look pale,
Beware of a snail.
It brings so much glory
And that's the end of my story.
There's just one last thing,
Beware of bee stings.
