The shit blog of Paul Chris Jones

The websites I visit most often

18th February 2015 Paul Chris Jones

Welcome to my most boring blog post yet! Feel free to sleep/eat/shit while I natter on about a topic you don't give a shit about.

The topic today is websites. I like websites, you like websites, we all like websites. Well, here's a list of the twenty websites I visit most often! They are in descending order of how often I visit them: the site I visit the most is at the top, and the site I visit the least is at the bottom.

  1. Facebook
  2. Hotmail
  3. Pauljonesblog.com (the best site on this list, by a looooong shot)
  4. Outlook.com
  5. Kijiji.ca
  6. Google calendar
  7. Thesaurus.com
  8. Linguee.com
  9. Tangerine online banking
  10. Pauljonesblog admin dashboard
  11. Google scholar
  12. BANQ (the web portal for Montreal's libraries)
  13. Worldofcrap.co.uk (a 90s nostalgia site)
  14. Dictionary.com
  15. TD online banking
  16. Sciencedirect.com

  17. Scotiabank online banking
  18. Amazon
  19. Google maps

Wondering how I found the data? Well, I opened a new blank tab in Chrome, which shows you your top eight most visited sites. Then by closing each one, you can make room for more.

Alphabetical list

A funner way to find your most visited sites is to type any letter into the url bar. Yep, any letter will do. The bar will then automatically prefill itself with your most visited site starting with that letter.

url bar

A is for Amazon.

I did this for all the letters of the alphabet, and here's the result:

A is for Amazon

B is for Banq.qc.ca

C is for Cinemassacre

D is for Dictionary.reference.com

E is for Ebay

F is for Facebook

G is for Google maps

H is for Hotmail

I is for Isohunt.to (This was my go-to place for torrents while piratebay.com/p>

J is for Jstor

K is for Kijiji

L is for Linguee.fr/francais-anglais

M is for Mrsgiggles.com (It's strange to see this site here, as I've only visited it a few times. It's a site for book reviews, and I went there particularly for reviews of 90s gamebooks)

N is for Numbeo

O is for Onlinedoctranslator

P is for Pauljonesblog.com (which, may I reiterate, is the best site on this list, if not the entire internet)

Q is for Quizlet

R is for Reddit

S is for Scholar.google.ca

T is for Thesaurus.com

U is for Urbandictionary

V is for Videogames.pricecharting.com (Ages ago, I bookmarked this site with a shortcut of "v". So now, whenever I type "v" in the url bar, up pops this site. The downside is that I often find myself on this site just because of clumsy typing.)

W is for Worldofcrap.co.uk

x is for... nothing

Y is for Youtube

Z is for Zazzle

Hey Paul its Lydia, Lydia Gregory you know that tall lanky black girl in your class that always got into trouble and brought your old Beano annals at Birches Green Junior school? Well I've calmed down (a bit) but I'm still tall as ever (6 feet 2) I accidentally found your website and its great seeing you again after all these years so thought that I would contact you as a shout out just to see wants going on. I have seen surprisingly few people I knew from Bitches Green so email me anytime if your feeling bored and Nostagic. so we can catch up

I have no memories of you buying my Beano annuals. You probably bought each one from me for 5p, didn't you? And now they're worth £20,000?
